Laczynski hasn't played with "terrible players." J Cates has looked better than Laczynski, Deslauriers is a NHL 4th liner, not a great one, but after 510 NHL games, he's not an AHL+ player either. All three are replaceable, but none are a black hole.

Nic Deslauriers is utter trash. It’s ok to admit that. He’s the definition of a black hole. A career high of 11 points or whatever.

This sounds very similar to Stewart defense. He doesn’t belong in the NHL. Hell, Thompson too.

If Patrick Brown had the possession numbers Laczynski had right now, you’d be hearing about it. How he’s playing a quiet, efficient game in the bottom 6. And that’s a damn fact.

Laczynski played the first four games, I hardly noticed him.

I thought Tanner had a good opener, even without his nice assist.

But he’s been a complete non-factor since, similar to the majority of his preseason.

MacEwen has been faster, more energetic, & more impactful so far. Though Zack did take one particularly bad penalty.

If that were true then things which measure impact on ice would bear it out. It's not true though. He is just flamboyant in his struggles so it seems like he's trying extra hard.

Strange. Jersey is a Devils fan & he compliments the Flyers.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of self-professed Carolina fans on here who do nothing but bash the Flyers.
