I realize that. What I mean is these types of players should be appreciated their entire career.
They very much were. Unless you mean every great player should receive a standing ovation on a nightly basis. If that were the case, it wouldn't be special, and you would still have to go above and beyond on special occasions like this. It's all relative.

Colorado's loss tonight means their game with STL will determine who gets the second Wild Card. Awesome.

If the Blues win tomorrow in regulation or overtime then the Avs will have to beat them in regulation on Saturday.

I'm hoping that the Blues lose in OT just for maximum theatrics on Saturday.

Dustin Brown would be the one to have a career night when I wanted to see a loss. I know who I'm blaming if we have to endure yet another SJ-LA playoff matchup.

He's not valuable to his team though. Amirite?

Leads the league in points
Leads the league in points per game
Leads the league in scoring chances for and high danger scoring chances for
Leads the league in takeaways
Leads the league in even strength points by a massive margin

But nope, playing on a bad team means you’re not valuable lol

How many 4 goal games this season? It feels like we've had more than last year, if not recent years.
I'm not sure but it's been a great year for so many players offensively. A nice change for sure.
