The entire team looks slow and tired.
This campaign against #21 is getting tired.

Not to make excuses, but the B's had the flu bug this week and are missing 4 starters, (6 starters if you include McQuaid and Seidenberg).

Detroit is a well coached team with speedy forwards who can make teams look slow at times.

That said, I feel the Bruins coming out in the 3rd period with a solid effort to win this game.

Okay, keep up the illusion, false hope, dream, hallucination, etc.
You can make all the excuses or worthless arguments from now until his days as a Bruin are over, but it's not going to change the fact that the guy is not a top line player.

If he was advertised as a floater, then nobody would critique his play as much, but he was supposed to be a productive asset. He certainly hasn't done anything all year that come close to meeting expectations.

Now, go right ahead and tell us all how he had injuries, concussions, hang nails, jock itch or whatever else might prevent him from being a decent player.

It's not a matter of keeping up appearances. It's a matter of every ref in the league seeing that and giving us no favors in the future (not that we get many to begin with). It's also just classless.
