McCarron is a big dude who has fought plenty, pretty weak to turtle in that situation after you clip someone from the blind side. Glad Goodrow didn't get a major because that's probably an instigator in the last 5 mins otherwise, which carries an automatic suspension if I'm not mistaken.

Far from a perfect game and much of the score had to do with Vasy but I have to think the Bolts will like this one more than scoring 6 in the last game.

It'll be pretty neat when we get some top 6 scoring! Yet another game carried by our depth + Vasy holding us in the game early.

Pointer did some great work on Cernak's lucky goal though.

Gourde is sliiiightly overpaid, but man he's really playing well the last 2 years. Had that crazy rookie year too. Provides PK, PP, can score and is a 2 way player. I love Gourde. We should be moving Johnson and Killorn well before Gourdey at this point

I mean, the extremes are absurd. ECHL to a great AHL scorer, and then from one of Our more valuable players to a guy who looked like he didn't belong in the NHL, and then back again. He's all over the place.

I'm starting to feel It's absolutely been noticed around the league not to drop the gloves against him. They were many examples this year he was ready and the other guy just deflected the conflict. I just don't want him to mess with Wilson or some goon specialists.
