Damn the skill gap in those two teams is wild. Missing our top 2 dmen and Tampa still did whatever they wanted. They were ferocious that third period.
But Ottawa is “committed to being a cap team from 2021-2024,” per Melnyk. Gosh I feel bad for their fans. Their owner is probably worse than OK Hockey (because he won’t relinquish control).

I also didn't hate those lines tonight. Gourde looked really good with the speed/skill on that line. Would still rather see Palat moved down over Miller, but I don't see that happening at this point.

Fun fact: Our third line tonight was 2/3rds of our top line during our 2016 Eastern Conference final run.

Also, Tyler Johnson is top 15 in even strength goals this year, and leads our team. Cray

Feel like that might have something to do with who he is playing with.

Still pretty impressive though. You can really see the improvement of his shot.
