So in the past two years I have bought a Faulk jersey in 16 and a Darling jersey in 17. Since Ryan is gone is there any other players on our team you want me to tank their careers by buying a jersey?

On a more serious note if the 3rds look good enough and they have a Svech jersey to roll out with it I might cop that right then and there.

Whalers throwbacks would probably net the team lots of jersey sales. Not necessarily to just Canes fans though. People really love their Whalers nostalgia for some reason. I like old Whalers stuff but I'm not obsessed with it like most hockey fans that grew up in 80s/90s seem to be.

If, and I am not in favor of it, but if we were to do a 3rd jersey that had some Whaler theme, then I would make the jersey black like our aways, with almost no contrasting colors, kind of like the Islanders black jerseys, but change the NY to the whale logo:

I think it was the latest CanesCast where Michael Smith was talking about the new jersey reveal. He said something like we know the color is black and the logo we can't say yet (or don't know yet). When he said that it got me worried that they were going to have a Whaler's logo. Anyways I don't feel like going back and listening to it again, but that's that.

Yeah, that means he can't say if it's the primary or the alternate logo.

I do hope it's the alternate. I do like the flag better than the eye, and I'm still missing it on the shoulders. We should bring it back.

I considered that too. The difference is I would be fine with either of those symbols, though I prefer the warning flag for the alts, but I would not be happy with the whaler's symbol.
