3rd OV alone should be able to get us a top C prospect back. 3rd OV and Galchneyuk should get us a young top C already in the NHL- someone like Draisaitl.

In a perfect world 3OA+galchenyuk should, I agree, give us a 22-25 years old already top #1c

I would do it for trocheck+mascherin+ Max Gildon

Pretty fair trade in my opinion.

Maybe Nuge. No chance that sniffs Draisaitl.

Galchenyuk + 2018 3rd overall for RNH maybe? I agree it won't get a Draisaitl but RNH alone doesn't have that kind of value IMO. Like I said earlier if Marc Bergevin even considered doing that trade he needs to be launched directly into the sun before the papers are sent in.

Yes we would,we just wouldn’t add the 3rd overall pick because that’s an overpayment.

Galchenyuk+ for Ryan O’Reilly is fair but we need to agree what that plus + is, assuming Buffalo is interested in Galchenyuk.

would have to be a big + in my opinion. 50ish pt winger for 60+pt two way C
maybe adding the 30a is too much but the habs don't have another asset that bridges the gap. I doubt scherbak or Juulsen get it done and would they gamble with the 2019 1st?

Pacioretty + 3OA for Draisaitl would be closer. Habs finally have that 1C and the oilers can roll Mcdavid,Patches,Poolparty,RNH,Zadina, and Yamamoto as a highly skilled top 6

1 step forward, 2 steps back.

for which team?

if its the habs, how is getting a 22 year old C with back to back 70pt seasons a step back?
patches is as good as gone next year anyways and the odds arent great zadina ends up being as good as drai..not saying he cant but drai is probably the 2nd best from his draft class

I dont see him as a C and i dont think the habs do either. they need a quality C to insulate these young forwards like chucky, gally, drouin, zadina?, etc

would habs fans do patches for carter straight up?

Drouin-Carter-Gally
Chucky-Danault-Zadina

thats a BIG improvement. still need another top 6 C in an ideal world though
Every day of the wekk
