Overall, taking his entire career into consideration Miller has been average to a hair above average. Some highs, some lows. That's not a knock against Miller at all. If the team in front of him was slightly above average, the Sabres could have done some damage in the playoffs. Miller is pretty consistent. Consistently average. And that's ok. Average is not a bad word, except on HF.

To call him "average" is just silly. He's a good goaltender. At this point he's a tier down from the elite ones.
