He does this all the time haha. ALL the time. He will be poorly covering his own man and then will start pointing like crazy to direct other people who to cover, like some general on the ice.

A guy on our regional water-polo team used to do it all the time... swim to the closest guy on the break when he should have gone to the other winger/driver and everyone shuffle over...

And in doing so ensure that the man further away who should be picking up the man he was now marking had to bust ass to get twice the distance he should have to be going.

And then if a goal was scored off it he would gesture towards you that it was your fault to absolve himself... when you just worked your arse off to try and cover his laziness/mistake.


He did it to me twice in one game once... he did not go home in dry clothes.

If we are gonna go cold for a period rather have it now than later.

AMac was closer to Braun to begin with but instead skated to a man already covered.

Giroux should have realised sooner... but it would not have happened if AMac went straight there.

Its sad but the defense still has a long way to go. Its awful seeing Schultz, Manning, and AMAC in the same lineup. Then you have MDZ playing like crap. Its a recipe for a slump. People can talk crap about Streit all they want but he is sorely missed. Gudas needs to get in the lineup ASAP. I think he will come back and play strong and with an edge. MDZ needs to figure things out quick. His tenure here is beginning to fade away. There isn't much to be said about Schultz, Manning, and AMAC. They have to be replaced at some point. Hextall cannot be okay with this.

I choose to trust that the long-term benefits of sitting Konecny tonight will make themselves clear at some point in the future, because right now it seems like a ****ing cluster**** of a mind**** to do that when we need to pull out of a slump. But what do I know, eh?

Benching Lube is ****ing stupid, that's what I know. I don't care what he does or doesn't do in practice, he has shown in games what kind of ability he has and the effort he makes constantly is far beyond reproach.

As for the guys who actually did play, at some point they have to stop being jerked around if Mullethead wants them to develop any consistency or chemistry or any****ingthing at all. It's all well and good to be patient and wait for the prospects to develop, but how about letting the boys get used to their own lines and not be pinballed back and forth Hakstok, if that's even your real name.

Right after the goal I wanted someone to fight someone or hit someone very hard. Mason was standing on his head for them and clearly got hurt and stayed in and let in a goal that really wasn't his fault. I thought the best response to that would be, if they couldn't muster offense, to just engage physically right away to show their goalie a sign of life. When the period ended without a peep, I pretty much saw where this one was going.
