Is he really the problem? I know he has his quirks, but Flyers seem to be doing a lot better than most projected them this year.

As an outsider a lot of his comments that past few days seem to be him pointing to management to get him another weapon offensively.

Either way outside of the third I thought that was a pretty good back and forth game. Unfortunately for you guys Foegele had a 5 point night the game before and McDavid had to show he can do the same.

He is a symptom of the true problem. If we would have hired Knoblauch when we fired Hakstol. Then instead of digging deeper into dinosaur hockey, which is what we are currently still doing, we would at least be informing the brass of what currently passes for talent in the NHL. Instead the original country club has put in place country club 2.0 as a buffer for them to soak up the Ed Snider retirement fund with impunity.

In the offseason he explicitly stated the team doesn't need offensive weapons but instead needs 10-12 goal PK specialists and management catered to him, so he can pound sand.
