[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

It's disappointing. It doesn't matter how many games you win, when you lose, you're disappointed.
Talked about it the other day, we have so much hockey in front of us that you need to go after it every single night.
You use this as motivation for next game, last game of the year try to end on a high note.
- Henrik Lundqvist

No, and we’ve had a lot of success getting out to leads quickly. That’s the way we like to play, obviously.
We didn’t deflate. We kept coming at them. We kept playing our game.
It’s a good team that’s playing well right now, and they were just better than us tonight.
- Marc Staal

We got some great looks. I think what probably made the difference a little bit is our inability to get through the neutral zone or their ability to stop us from getting through.
We had quite a few turnovers in that neutral zone that led to us spending unwanted time in our end or transition game on their part that we had talked about.
But give them full marks. They played a good game and they made us pay for our mistakes and won the game.
- Alain Vigneault

We beat these guys last NYE. Hopefully this game won't be as frustrating.

No Lu in net? Kinda surprised if that's the case.

Florida and Lu played last night. He has started a lot of games recently too. Montoya hasn't played since December 13.

For whatever reason, I've watched a lot of Florida this season. They are a solid team. They play really physically, and forecheck very aggressively, and get a lot of shots. Bjugstad is hot and cold, but if he's feeling it tonight he'll be the most dynamic player on the ice (think Malkin, the kid can be that good). Shut down the top line though, and the rest of the offense isn't too skilled. They'll still cause problems, but they don't score too much. Other guy to watch is Vinny Trocheck. That kid is a gamer, he plays fast and with a lot of skill, earned a promotion to the top line after basically handing Jimmy Hayes half his goals on the season.

I have a bad feeling about this one.

2-1 loss thanks to a Lundqvist softie, even though the Rangers outshoot the Panthers 52-13.

I haven't been able to watch any games lately, but is there a reason Fast is scratched?

I can't believe from what I've read that Glass has played so amazing that he'll never ever be scratched ever.

First game of the year I won't be able to be glued to my TV or watching live.

New Years Eve is ALWAYS so much better when the Rangers win. Please beat this team tonight and allow all of us to celebrate in peace.

Happy New Year to everyone here, have fun and be safe!
