[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

To be up there with Hasek now, it’s special, for sure.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We pay attention, it’s hard not to. You can fall behind pretty quick with teams like that keep streaking.
It’s something we looked at the other day when we were within three or four points of like six, seven teams.
So you have to keep getting points.
- Marc Staal

As soon as I got here, I knew his preparation and his work ethic in practice.
That’s why Henrik was one of the best goaltenders in the league at that time, and he continues to be.
- Alain Vigneault

Team doesn't look so well-endowed without Nash in the lineup.

The time to play Vesey in the top 6 is now.

He isn't at the level where he can play with 4th liners and still produce. He should be a complement with top players. Move Miller to the right and stick him in Nash's spot.

It will be difficult without Nash - he has been great recently.

One cannot "expect victory" tonight. They've just been handed 2 otl's and probably not very happy right now. Agree about Vesey, this kid needs to be let loose.

I'm so down on Stepan, its not even funny. In a year he was supposed to have a career year, he has been bleh. Please take him off PP, he really slows everything down, allowing teams to set. Jeez, please Louise.

admittedly I was hoping that a injury free Stepan would be able to challenge 70+ this year if he hit consistency.

I doubt it, and he is not that kind of player. And some fans consider to move him before his M-NTC.

i actually disagree with this decision...id have gone with raanta for this one. just because of the work load that Henriks received as of late...not just the timeframe of games...but the sheer volume of difficult shots hes had to face.
