Kari is not the goalie that will carry this team to the promise land.

This team will not get to the promised land. Too many holes. Kari is one of the issues but not the only one imo. It will take time.

He lets is soft goals quite often. He is out of position and doesn't cover the pucks he should. He has too many holes in his game just like the defense. Dallas has not had an elite goalie since Belfour (including Turco).

Agreed, Turco was no Belfour...if Ed B. had stayed a few more years, those Bill Guerin Dallas Stars teams would have had a Cup or two. Ed B. did well in Toronto. Toronto did not win a Cup, but they did not have the team that Turco had in front of them. Eddie Eagle was the best!

As for this season's Dallas Stars, neither goalie is elite, but they are doing very well so far. There's a lot of hockey to be played...let's just let this team keep winning.
