They already do that Miro. Stars defenseman are playing well so they don't want to change up more than 1 for 1 .
well then couldnt he just slot in for oleksiak and put miro on his proper side all the same?
id be hesitant to swap for polak since he engenders that fear. put a pretty good hit on someone early on

Vegas replaced Perron and Real Deal Hamez Neal with Pauly Walnuts, Pacioretty, and Mark Stone yet they aren't nearly as scary as they were in their first two seasons.

perron is pretty great, i was miffed when stl traded him the first time, his third stint w the blues is pretty damned good
id definitely take him in dallas

he was such damaged goods for the longest time after thornton crushed him

Perron is great but Pacioretty is the better goal scorer. Kinda hard to believe they added 3 solid pieces to their team and aren't scary to play against.

Team and line chemistry is a thing. Some guys just click together while individually they aren't that great just like some guys who are good individually just don't work with each other for whatever reason.

They still have their top line rolling of Smith, Wild Bill, and Marchessault though.

They would be scarier if they added another top 4 D- but right now there's nothing frightening about Schmidt, Theodore, and a bunch of bums.
