[FIELDSET="Game Overview"]First meet of the season, with the follow-up in San Jose next month. Senators swept the Sharks last season and the waters are chummed for revenge. Sharks are looking to continue their road mastery and win in Ottawa on the backside of b2b games. Offensive production last season came from Marleau, Wingels with a goal from each, and Nietto having two assists. Sharks will look for more contribution across the lines. [/FIELDSET]

[FIELDSET="Keys to the Game"]The lines will be tired from last night's OT win, and thus more will be on Alex Stalock to perform. He's shown that he can be a shutdown goalie, but then he's also shown us some terrible performance. Alex will need to be that shutdown goalie. Senators do not take many shots on goal, but they do make them count. Sharks defense is superior, but the defense will need to exit the zone well with no turnovers.

Sharks also need to find scoring from their offensive players from the depths. Melkman, where are you?. They'll need to keep their feet moving and maintain pressure on the Senators for a full three periods.[/FIELDSET]

[FIELDSET="Season Match Up"]Sharks are going for the opening season win.

Dec 18th - Sharks @ Senators
Jan 18th - Senators @ Sharks

Stalock loses sight of the puck in the last minute and we don't even receive the OT pity point...

Welp, when was the last time you could say you were going to miss a Sharks game to watch Star Wars in the theater...
