Glad they got the win. Not a fantastic performance but the team came up clutch and found a way to get it done.

3 on 3s are really fun.

And hearing the ''Go Leafs go!'' chant completely stall after the goal was scored was absolutely delicious.

Burns is on pace for 29 goals and 39 assists and people want to trade him. He's improving every single game and has consistently been our MVP all season. Fantastic performance from him tonight.

SNOG announcement

No SNOG, but somebody was wrong twice...

4 scoring lines is not a problem and it's the leafs, so it's an automatic L anyways.

SNOG
5-3 Leafs
Sparks, Phanoof, Rielly, Parenteau, Kadri
Hertl, Zubrus, Pavelski

We're going to lose this game.

Brent Burns, after Johnny Gaudreau, is the best 3v3 player in the league. An elite-skating, big, skilled puckhandler who is a forward and a defenseman all rolled into one.

Burns on TV postgame interview:

- they didn't play well at times, but it was great to come back, getting that early goal in the 3rd, boys played hard
- first ten they played their game, got a lot of shots, then a lot of turnovers second half of the first period and into the second period, third period they played better, smarter, getting it deep
- [on the goal] Jumbo made a great play, it rolled up on Burns so he pulled it a little bit, Pavs did go toward the net and it went toward his guy; was just trying to shoot it, not necessarily aiming toward Pavs
- they talked about shooting the puck as much as they could

Nieto on radio postgame interview:

- great to get that goal, tie it up, get the boys some energy, thought they came out hard the first ten minutes then stopped playing the game, huge two points and they'll take them however they can get them
- [on the goal] started in their own end, clean breakout, put the puck where they got get it back, establish a good forecheck, they were buzzing around there, Tierney put the puck on his stick and he got it in
- [on his OT shift] his first 3-on-3 shift, out of breath afterward, thought they did a good job controlling the puck, he had a chance there, they were able to get a good change and get themselves back in a position to get on the attack
