3 games against Carolina - all 1 goal games. I don't really expect that to change in the playoffs if we meet. Some nice poetic justice with Aho drawing a call to win it on a pp for the Canes last week, and Stammer draws the call and scores the pp goal this time. This was a game that felt like we should win for most of it, so glad we made it happen it OT.

Great way for Stammer to hit 30 goals

Scoreboard doesn't show it but tonight was close to a polished gem with respect to how we want to see the team play going into the postseason. Not a lot of sloppiness, controlled the pace of play against a Carolina team that looked very committed to disrupting our transition game. Team knew exactly how to exploit the over committed forecheck with some well timed stretch passes and small clears along the board.

Not sure what to change. The 3rd line sucked tonight, but we have to hope they can figure it out. If Coop puts Hagel or Paul on other lines he’s risks no chemistry there too

We're trying to incorporate two new forwards. Better use of our time before the playoffs is to give their line a chance to gel.

few things i noticed: on Hedman's goal, he kept the puck in with the knob of his stick and then scored. and on the OT goal i couldnt help but laugh at Phil yelling at stamkos for not shooting at first and then scores before he can finish his sentence
