We were playing too well the first half of this game to give up 3 quick goals like that. Don’t let that stuff creep back into our game after we finally got over that

Former coach/scout speak here. Engblom is usually spot on in his analysis.

When our D get possession our forwards are too static - too north and south- and often facing the D when they get the puck but have no foot speed and nowhere to go. The Devils can rush them with speed and easily turn it into an odd man rush. Our Forwards need to have more east-west movement when our D retrieve the puck.
