That makes sense. Cohesion would be nice. But coop keeps swapping the defensive pairings.Talent-wise it's not, but that group collectively made far less mistakes than this one does. At least Coop could keep it to the Sustr/Carle pairing and just roll the TKO line every time and we'd never have to actually defend because we'd be in the offensive zone the entire time. On a given night Cernak screws up and affects a pairing, Hedman screws up and affects another, Sergachev screws up and affects another, Perbix makes rookie mistakes and affects another. Cole and Bogosian are at worst steady and unremarkable
Another reason I do believe we are better than our current run of games, it's clear that coop is using the time to experiment and tweak.
