The team has played way better since hexy left and even put ghost back up. Changes still have to be made to the roster and the coach will probably get fired in the summer.

Every team does with the lead. Flyers have no checking forwards except Laughton and Coots and the d is left for dead but they still played in your face hockey and it was better. Lots of change to the roster has to happen.

Teams blow leads dude. Caps just did and so have others but the game had hitting and some fights and they skated and it looked like they cared and saturday on the road was better. The season started when Hexy left which hopefully isnt to late but lots of time left.

the pitt game was different for sure. in the way the players played against pitt. pushing back hitting and trying to get under their skin. the system that the flyers played was not different. after listening to the players and the coach after the game it was clear that the players didnt like how pitt had swagger against them most recently. pretty much since hak has taken over. they looked like the team that beat them in 2012 playoffs. and owned them in their building for years. which is different from the past four years. looking at that game the players decided to play the way the stars knew they needed to to beat them. cause the game plan was to try and get a lead and hold on and hope the goalie bails them out the same as every other game this year

The Pitt game had nothing to do with Hackstool and everything to do with the players, the GM was fired along with a couple of his boys, on one hand I believe Hexy was the catalyst for the don’t play emotional, don’t take penalties narrative, but the players understand they could be gone and they’re always saying how tight the team is, I believe they had more to do with the physical play and the win then anything Beet Boy did

Flyers need to go on a nice long losing streak, this season is already toast. A top 5 pick will help this organization much more than missing the playoffs by 4 points.

Which means the players will come out like gangbusters now and blow the doors of Columbus, starting a winning streak that ensures this team will be stuck in mediocrity.
