I read on the Flyers site it was Raffl - Laughton - Jake as the 3rd line and Lehtera is back in on the 4th line. So Weal scratched, maybe? Or Lindblom? The article didn't say specifically what the 4th line was.

The previews from both Dave Isaac (Courier Post) and Bill Meltzer (Hockey Buzz) are in agreement in that Lehtera is the scratch. However, in other text the indication is that Lehtera is playing.

It depends on when each updated their previews but as of now both writers have the same projected units with the only difference who is the L and R defensemen on the second pairing.

Isaac:
Forwards
28-Claude Giroux, 14-Sean Couturier, 11-Travis Konecny
25-James van Riemsdyk, 19-Nolan Patrick, 17-Wayne Simmonds
12-Michael Raffl, 21-Scott Laughton, 93-Jake Voracek
23-Oskar Lindblom, 40-Jordan Weal, 22-Dale Weise
Defense
9-Ivan Provorov & 53-Shayne Gostisbehere
47-Andrew MacDonald & 8-Robert Hägg
6-Travis Sanheim & 3-Radko Gudas
Goalie
41-Anthony Stolarz
(30-Michal Neuvirth)

Meltzer:
28 Claude Giroux - 14 Sean Couturier - 11 Travis Konecny
25 James van Riemsdyk - 19 Nolan Patrick - 17 Wayne Simmonds
12 Michael Raffl - 21 Scott Laughton - 93 Jakub Voracek
23 Oskar Lindblom - 40 Jordan Weal - 22 Dale Weise

9 Ivan Provorov - 53 Shayne Gostisbehere
8 Robert Hägg - 47 Andrew MacDonald
6 Travis Sanheim - 3 Radko Gudas

41 Anthony Stolarz
[30 Michal Neuvirth]

How in the hell does a guy like Alzner get waived but MacDonald plays top 4 minutes? Sure they both suck but at least one NHL team knows what suck looks like. I wish MacDonald health and happiness but I'm so f***ing sick of this shit and of this team and the never ending rope they have given to this idiot coach. They are going to get run out of the building tonight and shit head Hakstol will still be here next week. This organization needed gutting from Holmgren and Clarke through all of the coaches and a few players, not just Hextall. Stupidity and arrogance. They're like General Motors - an old, stupid leadership surrounded by yes men telling them they are doing the right things, hiding the facts and blowing smoke up their asses.

Work Xmas party tonight; one of the few Saturdays I wish it were an afternoon game, also. I’ll probably just end up sneaking off and finding a place to watch the game.

You do have to play your press box guys occasionally, so if you actually need them they have legs.
If Lehtera v Weal is the difference between winning and losing, god help us.
Weal is not a good fit on the 4th line, he's 3C or bench.
