In the game in which we beat them this year, we took it to them physically. We know what we have to do to beat them. Finish our checks and play in their face.

Yup only problem is our team is softer than a bag of cotton balls. We have literally nobody who is willing to play physical. Gauthier and kreider need to start laying people out to set the tone.

For all the faults of the late 00's rangers, girardi, callahan and mcdonagh were hard-nosed players willing to chase down the puck and play physical.

I don't know how Quinn looks at our lineup and thinks Hajek is the 7th best defenseman. He wasn't blowing the doors off anyone, but he was better than JJ and Smith in my opinion.

Are you talkiing about the same Girardi who was crucified here when he stood by and watched Dan Carcillo beat Gaborik like a drum? G would stand in front of a hundred pucks a night and keep coming back for more, but he wasn't striking fear into anyone with his physical play. All that said, I would love it if Miller elevated his physical play to that of Girardi or McDonagh.

We Took it to the Bruins physically once so far this season. They have since targeted Lindgren to defuse that. We haven’t responded to thier response since.

I hope we do tonight. That win was the most satisfying victory of the season.

Quinn also played Hajek over JJ.

Credit for both decisions IMO. He's never gonna scratch Howden, but at least PDG was the next most worthy of a game off.
