true enough. genre is a lost cause in this day and age. i might add 'indie-folk' to the mix for another variation on a theme. sister-band Shearwater seems closer to 'indie-rock'. still 'folk-music' is by far the least appropriate of these options - i still think of the Harry Smith anthology when i hear that term.
