It's not just ice time. It's that whoever is attached to Provorov is attached to the top line too. There's such a monster difference between that line and the rest, or at least 2 of the others. And Hakstol ties the top line/pair together at the waist.

I’m told Sanheim is playing in the NHL and therefore making an impact so it doesn’t count as bad development.

Easy fix giroux back to center

I suggested that before the season, & I was one of the biggest proponents of the G to wing experiment last preseason. I still am, & ideally they’d find a dynamic 2C & G could stay at wing, but I’m not at all against moving G back to C until they add a 2C or Patrick improves.
