Washington is a top-10 possession team in most of the metrics, so I expect a very lopsided shot total. Add in Washington's #3 PP and the fact Buffalo has the most PK's/game in the league, and I think this one might get ugly.

4-1, Caps. Back to reality.

5-2 Caps. 3 PP tallies for Washington, 2 from Ovi and the 3rd from the Sabres leaving the rest of the team wide open while trying to stop Ovi.

I'm predicting a lopsided loss but cheering for hard fought win. Realistically, 5-1 Capitals (Caps with 4 before we respond). Idealistically, 3-2 Sabres OT (Overtime is the best realistic outcome I can hope for).

We've had our fun. Now it's time to get right back to work.

The tank must go on.

My thoughts exactly.

I watch every game hoping for a hard fought effort, possibly even a win, but I'm always expecting a plop in the **** can. Just wanna see them put together a solid performance is all.

If they play with the same effort as they have since the Blues game, that's all you can ask for. They'll be outshot and lose because of the major talent gap, but at least they'll look like a professional hockey team.

In Washington, so watch on mute or get annoyed by everything in their building, mostly Airhorn Guy and the goal siren
