Yes and they played amazing football and only lost in a dire game at Nice.
In Europe they were hit by a goalie injury crisis when facing Leverkusen in the QF. They had to find a retired goalie to come back and he got loaded and made mistake after mistake.
Still IMO, they were the best team in Europe that season.
Following summer they lost quite a few players and even though they did reach the CL semis (echanging wins with Juve in the semis), they were not the same.

Ornstein once again mentioned the two strikes I already mentioned in the past as the #9 targets for the Arsenal in Sesko and Gyokeres. He said Arsenal will not go after Isak and Toney.

Also mentioned is that Arsenal wants Bruno (Newcastle United) and/or Zubimendi depending on who they sell as well. Definitely wants at least one of them.

LOL, Bayer has been so clutch , I can't wait to see them in the CL next season, I hope they can keep their core intact

Seems like they should be able to keep most of their players for at least another year. Though Xabi and management are already posturing wrt to some of the fringe guys.

Sesko shouldn't move yet. He's an amazing talent, but he has another level or two to reach in Leipzig first.

I think Newcastle should focus on 1 elite CB and a midfielder. Elite midfielder if Guimaraes leaves. Botman will be out for a pretty long time so we need a good CB that takes his place and then takes Schär places when Botman is back.

We have problem defensively

Giroud in LA is asking him to cheat on his wife again and bang a pornstar from Silicon Valley.

To be fair, Arsenal has developed a lot of young players, they're developing Kai who has been brutal for 98% of his career, and continue to develop studs. Additionally, we have like three players in the youth academy who are on their way to WC status with immense potential.

Kai has yet to be as good in London as he was for Leverkusen or is for the NT...and Sesko shouldn't move to sit on anyone's bench.

You know he’s probably more well known in Bucharest than in the USA still.

Giroud is too handsome though. Using a picture of Giroud is flying too close to the sun

He's not bad, but he's no Kelly Oubre. That man is just too f***ing pretty.
