What exactly is the path forward for GSW? Are they doing the thing where they just defer to the players if they want to ride out their careers? Because otherwise it seems like it’s time to really reset this thing and ask Steph who else he would play for. Klay is cooked, Draymond is a lunatic, Wiggins is going to be 30 and they’re like a billion dollars over the cap. They do seem to do a reasonably good job at the draft.

they do have some nice young pieces like podz, TDJ, and kuminga and curry is still curry. the problem is klay is done and wiggins hasn't been all that great since the '22 finals. they also don't have anyone they could trade for another star without blowing up the team
