What can we get for pick + Berggren+ Veleno?

Trade up , I'd easily attach a 2nd,3rd and move up 5-6 spots for iginla or eiserman. This will probably be the last chance to pick that high for a while

Because we draft mid first my expectation is no one here will predict who Yzerman picks .
I think he will pick forward 6'1+ in the first round

This is pretty crazy. Demidov is better than everyone past Carlsson. Other than Michkov who should have gone 2nd

Comparison between MBN and Filip Forsberg (drafted in year 11-12)

. I have hard time seeing MBN fall to us. This is a weakish draft imo and he'll turn out to be a riser especially around the combine.

He'd absolutely be the player if available Id run to the podium to draft.

Pretty much my same feelings about the quality of this draft.

There are still players I like in this draft but overall I think it'll go down as a really mediocre to poor draft. These things work in cycles and we've had good to very good years (19, 20, 21) one that many are expecting to at least be average (2022) and one that we're all expecting greatness from (2023).

We're due for a poor draft along the lines of 1999, 2004, 2012 or 2018.

Easily. They're statistically similar in college but Fantilli looks like the better two way and power forward.

Just looking at all of the lists, I think it's almost a certainty one of Nygaard or Greentree will be there at 15.
