Snagged a McAvoy on the ProShop website.

If I were in marketing I would have them wear the jersey in warmups today to give people that perspective

Not a fan, but they’ve been in so many of these outdoor games and have had so many novelty and alternate jerseys at this point that they essentially ran out of options.
At this point, I’d have done a green Fenway jersey or just gone 80s retro and then switch to those full time for next season.

This is what Dallas should have done with their scheme before the Wild got ahold of it.

Seriously the NHL winter classic marketing people are just morons. Yes keep the exact same color scheme of the two teams. Just a sea of black and yellow with no contrast between the two. Should be a great shot of the stands where they are all wearing the same thing.
Bruins basically just did the bear minimum and slapped a meth bear to make it a tad different but the overall scheme is exactly the same as all the other classics, and Pitts did the same.
Either Pit could do the baby blue scheme to make things different or heck maybe the Bruins do a Red Sox looking color scheme as that would look wild and different. Nope, no creativity from either side. Eventually people are going to yawn at Winter Classics because they are exactly the same every year

Game was ruined due to too many outdoor games. Not the jerseys. And the Bruins jersey is very nice. It’s literally different from anything they’ve had.

Would have been better with just the bear on the front, different font for “Boston”, and instead of curved over the top, curved downward under the numbers on the back like a clubcut. Not into the comic sans font, it’s overused at this point too. Fits the fifties and older uniforms, not the late 70’s to 80’s/90’s meth bear.
