Congrats to the Nuggets

Need one of Boston, Philadelphia, hell even the Knicks, to step up because Miami is going to finals because of laziness on the part of these three teams.

Congrats to the Nuggets fans out there. I’m almost always happy to see a first time champion, but at nearly 50 years winning in front of home fans was a special moment.

Still puzzled by that “foul” call for Butler: don’t get touched, kick a guy in the nards coming down, and go to the line for 3. But as Sheed would say, ball don’t lie, and the better team won. Well done Denver

Denver Colorado
I think everybody on the panel said they were disappointed with Butler on that possession
He was on fire
1) Got the matchup they wanted on the pick
2) blows by his man
3) see’s jokic who isn’t anything special at the rim
4) gets scared and pulls up way too deep in the paint . He probably travelled, and rushes a pass and they turn it over

He would have been fouled
Denver didn’t have their challenge

It was there for the taking

Interesting tidbit, with the Raptors, Lakers, Bucks, Warriors, and now Nuggets winning in the past five seasons, that's the first time that five different teams have won in a five-year stretch since the Blazers, Bullets, Sonics, Lakers, and Celtics won from '77-'81.

As opposed to the other 364 days of the year?

If you look at this one too quickly, you think Kobe is on the john with the trophy.
Literally heard one person complain about why people think Jokic is so good when he’s only won one championship. This was 12 hours after the trophy was handed out.

As opposed to their golden boy who has won zero?
Yes. Or that because Jokic won doesn’t mean Embiid isn’t as good/can’t win either.

Absolutely hilarious radio. They’re totally in their feelings.

Better team won. If not Miami then I’m glad it was Denver. Really happy for Jokic and Murray.

Fun run for Miami. Now it’s Dame Time.
I'm happy for both of Jokic and Murray

I'm s Spurs fan but Joker has been my favorite NBA player since his rookie year; his demeanor and the fact that he is a team first superstar won me over.

I've never been a fan of Jordan/Kobe, as talented they were, I prefer players like Magic, Bird, Duncan etc... I didn't watch Bird and Magic live (at least there is youtube lol) so witnessing an unselfish superstsr like Jokic live is awesome.

As for Murray, it's a great comeback story, after he missed the playoffs before, because of an injury.

I would have been happy for Miami too, as they have a bunch of unselfish and undrafted players, and Spo is a fantastic coach.
(But I really wanted Joker to in lol)
