Hovland has one (or two) of those in every big final round. It takes him out of contention and he’ll birdie a couple coming in but still finish like 4 out.

Big Brooks looked a lot like the Big Brooks that got stormed by Phil at Kiawah. Just a lifeless performance the entire day.

It really does seem like every major final round for him since that 2019 PGA almost-choke has been lifeless. He ain't the same.

LIV almost couldn't have written a better script, good on the golfers. Tons of pressure of them and they came out strong.

Reed and Mickelson backdoored Top5's but were never really contending.

Brooks was the only LIV guy

Idk, a liv golfer collapses after 54 holes doesn’t seem to be the script they woulda wanted? Obv Phil made a great run on Sunday but otherwise winning is what they really want/need. And with rankings continuing like they are, it’s going to be harder and harder for them to get as many good opportunities like this to do that.

Can I point out Cantlay is a f***ing turd.

Talk about slow.

Yeah he sucks

I wanted to kill myself watching him play 16. Hovland played out of turn several times on the back9 because he as fed up with it, too. And he’s not a fast player either.

Brooks obviously called him out on it.

They need to look into a shotclock for guys like him
