Thought it'd be interesting to post last year's list to get a feel for the graduates and washouts. Obviously there will be risers and fallers but only 4 "available" new spots.

Seminoff should jump up quite a bit

Looking at the list yeah Stranges at 7 was way too high .

By the way Murray counts as a prospect now right ? He was on an AHL deal when last season started but now he's on an NHL deal . So officially a prospect now.

I think Kyrou and Poirier will be my big risers. I don't really love the undersized non-elite skating offensive defensemen archetype, but I'm not sure who else to vote for at 4. Poirier seems like a real prospect now, should go in the top 10. Grushnikov will be my biggest faller.

I honestly know nothing about our new picks this past draft. To be honest without looking I don't even remember who we picked in the 2nd lol. Bertucci maybe

Seminoff is my biggest riser

Grush is maybe my biggest faller, although I think his ceiling is easier to reach to most

This year's rankings are going to fun after the first 3. Doubt will see many runaways

No, Murray is 25 years old. The cutoff is still 23 or under by the start of the season. He played 5 years of college.

I remember a lot of us being wrong about R. Smith vs. Chiasson. I wonder if there was a chance we could have traded Chiasson rather than Smith for Seguin.

Also I remember when Dillon was heralded as our future defensive stud. :help: We have come a long way since then.

12/20 over 100 games seems really good.

When an org only needs to have two guys a draft year to make the show to be average, the Stars kind of killed it for a few years there. But there were a few stinkers. 2006, 2008, 2014, 2016... anything in the last 5 years still has a shot at not being a stinker but we'll see. 2018 ain't lookin too hot. We can only hope that their current pool of kids turns out to be just as strong as it was 11 years ago.

With less memes and busts because of attitude.

Being wrong about Chiasson taught me to value IQ over tools. Reilly has IQ.

i expect stranges' silly feet to earn him a couple more spots than he probably should have.

I remember being really hyped for Austin Smith after he had that monster season at Colgate.
