Quick and dirty 15 minute tier list. Guys in the same tier I value as being in roughly the same ballpark. Obviously, some may rise or fall based on future performances.

Things I weigh, in order of most important to least important:

1.) Top end skill
2.) Consistent improvement/upward trajectory
3.) Likelihood of being an NHL regular
4.) Remaining development time/rawness
5.) Pedigree (ie, program, family, awards, etc)
6.) Age

Things I don't weigh:

-How we acquired the player
-The position they play
-Capital/assets spent on that player

S Tier
Luke Hughes
Simon Nemec

A Tier
Arseni Gritsyuk
Seamus Casey
Alexander Holtz
Akira Schmid

B Tier
Josh Filmon
Nolan Foote
Graeme Clarke
Topias Vilen
Nico Daws
Daniil Karpovich
Ethan Edwards
Tyler Brennan
Chase Cheslock

C Tier

Adam Barabosha
Patrick Moynihan
Cam Squires
Lenni Hameenaho
Case McCarthy
Zakhar Bardakov
Santeri Hatakka
Mike Vukojevich

Literally don't care about anyone else
I like your criteria a lot. It should be standardized for these rankings.

I do think Holtz has fallen out of the A list though.

I think this tier system is pretty spot on although I might swap some guys between some tiers. Whole heartedly agree with the top two tiers.

I’d move Clarke up a tier. There’s guys in that B tier list that I can see not making the year to year progression he has.

Salminen belongs in the C tier too. I think he can follow the Clarke career path of slow and steady progression to a third line role.

Not sure Barabosha has shown enough to be in the B tier either.

Can’t really argue with the rest though.

For me, this season will be huge for Clarke to put up or shut up. I think he needs to show more than he has - I have him a significant level below Foote and Holtz in readiness and I'm not super convinced about either of them sticking either.

It's potential - Barabosha looks like he has the skill and top end potential, though very young.

I feel like it's too early to put Barabosha in B tier and I feel I didn't make enough attention to Orlov, because he is much more interesting and potentially strong prospect than people understand. Its nothing surprising for me, its not the first time, I'm more surprised that a lot of people didn't give enough credits to Bardakov, I was thinking I made a lot for it. Im happy you do.
And I don't know with Brennan, us his results are good enough to put him in B tier? Didnt saw nought of him, and I don't know how good or bad his team was.

I gave a lot of leeway to the much younger guys because their ceiling is higher and they have more time to achieve it vs. guys in the system 2+ years that have a tighter timeframe. Not an easy choice, and I'm also a big fan of defensive defensemen who can play well-posiitoned hockey ... Orlov probably is on B tier really, but I had him at top of C.

Brennan has a lot of potential per those that know goalies (I can't make heads or tails of it) so I stuck him in B with Daws. We shall see, they can rise and fall fast!
