Hopefully I can keep myself from watching more than 13 games this year. 69 games that starts from 1 am onward :help:

Pretty ironic if I finish my insomnia/sleep cbt just in time for the season to start. Waste of money there...

Two weekend games in Detroit, nice. Been trying to make a trip to their new building for a couple years now.

It's great. A lot of the empty seats on TV are because it's so nice in the hallways and they have TVs for the game everywhere. Sightlines in the cheap seats are NOT good. Overall it's nice but I miss The Joe.

Don't be afraid to wear your Sabres gear. It's not Philly.

We park at the MGM Casino for free and walk a few blocks - but be warned - in the winter Detroit is a LOT colder than Buffalo. That's one reason my wife moved to NC and I didn't move to Michigan

Really wish they'd start the season earlier or shorten the Jan/Feb. pause by a few days to allow for more days off when games are being played. The Sabres won't have more than 2 days off between games anywhere between February 10th and the end of the season. Playing 33 games in 2 months and change is nuts.

Right on! I'm jealous of Little Caesar's from a far. It's one reason I think we need to consider outright replacing KBC instead of sinking renovation dollars into an already woefully out of date near-30 year old building.

I've worn Buffalo gear in some pretty hostile environments, but I'm a young man that can handle myself pretty well :) Bills game at KC last year was a rough one, but the worst might have been Game 3 at Ottawa 2007, 1-0 loss 13 SOG, being one of maybe 10 Sabres fans in the entire building. Good times

Damn. Sabres lone game at Dallas falls when I'll be out of the country.

Figures. I finally decide to spend the money to go to a game and I can't.

Sabres play in Raleigh Thursday November 7 and Saturday December 2. Both are good dates.

Of course they are out of town St. Patrick's Day weekend - and in Detroit of all places.

Can't wait for the Nov. 7th game. I'll still have optimism at that point (just bracing myself out of habit). Haven't been to a Canes game the last few times but they're always a good time!

I go to pretty much every Sabres game in Raleigh except the few years in a row the game would be in NC the same weekend the St. Pat's Parade is in Buffalo, and I never miss that.

PNC Arena is a house of horrors for the Sabres though. It's been years since I've seen a win there. Still keep going...

Sounds like we should do an HFboards meetup!

I have only been there for one Sabres win out of like...15?

Usually it's just an awesome time tailgating before and then a shitty time leaving. My dad is a totally gentle person and some Caniac lady just started screaming in his face and she got shutdown pretty quick by other Canes fans. IDK if I can get him to go back after that but I'll toss down some Red Oak drafts by myself.

I think we lost any chance of a new arena once they connected the Harbor Center to KBA .. sad really... state of the art downtown arena would really do wonders

Little Ceasar's is a nice arena but the sightlines are much better at KeyBank. It all depends on what means more - how nice it is, or how good is it to watch the game?

Of course, I'm not a season ticket holder in Buffalo, but I would be good if they just put a bunch of money into refurbishing instead of building a brand-new one.
