To note! The power rankings are done using the data from the season as a WHOLE. This lets us conservatively compare raw numbers -> final standings and hear people scream about how unlucky they were. Reasons you could see variance would be your numbers in a category being bunched up into particular weeks, or yes, you facing opponents that just happened to be above/below you in certain areas impacting results.

If you still remain in contention for the AHL promotion, I wish you luck. If you still remain in contention for the NHL title, I do not wish you luck.

And lastly before we bid farewell to the 2023-24 fantasy season, a massive thank you to all of those that participated. The concept of a relegation league can only be a reality with a large group of willing and active participants, and this was by far the most active and enjoyable fantasy league I have been a part of. We made 76 trades and 1553 transactions between the two leagues. The hope is to bring it back in full next season, though interest will have to be gauged and things may have to be potentially tweaked.

I now let you all free to watch hockey without a vested fantasy interest, and with less stress involved. That is until a couple weeks from now for some of us that cheer for winning teams..

Also shoutout to @BeLeafing for making me sweat it out in the finals vs him and running the leagues, definitely the best fantasy hockey league I've ever been in. The promotion/demotion element, weekly recaps and trade graphics were all great additions this year.

Looking forward to defending the title next year.
