Interesting (and scary) to see people picking Zacha to regress points-wise. Curious as to the rationale?

I figured he'd have a full year with Pasta and that should only boost his numbers, as compared to last year when he spent the first part of it bouncing around from line to line (230+ minutes away from Pasta).
I think he will score more goals. He will be shooting more. Roughly the same points. Some of my point totals where rounded down to make math easier

ill breakdown lines I think we will see as well (consider rough pace numbers)

Merkulov - 20/30/50 (PP2)
Zacha - 25/55/80 (PP1)
Pastrnak - 60/45/105 (PP1)

Marchand - 30/55/85 (PP1)
Coyle - 20/30/50 (PP2)
DeBrusk - 35/35/70 (PP2)

van Riemsdyk - 25/25/50 (PP1)
Geekie - 15/30/45 (PP2)
Boqvist - 10/25/35

Lucic - 5/15/20
Frederic - 15/20/35
Lauko - 10/15/25

Lindholm - 10/35/45
McAvoy - 15/55/70 (PP2)

Grezlcyk - 5/25/30
Carlo - 5/15/20

Forbort - 5/5/10
Shattenkirk - 15/35/50 (PP1)

I know Merkulov riding shotgun with Zacha/Pasta seems crazy but Idk. I also know he can be the Pasta on pp2, firing one timers from the right circle.

I like the optimism but Shattenkirk and JVR numbers stand out as a bit high...I guess if they both stick on PP1 all year it could make sense though. If Merkulov played in that spot I could see 20/30 being attainable.

Just FYI, that adds up to twenty (20) more goals than the Bruins had last year.

Kind of high expectations for Shattenkirk, eh?

I said rough numbers!!!

I see both him and JVR on PP 1 with Marchand and Pastrnak for damn near 82 games so I dont think itll be too far off.

Shattenkirk has always been on the Power Play yet he's only reached 50 points once in 13 seasons and that was 8 years ago.

I believe everyone is going to take a real hit on production now they are going C by committee and Line 1 is going to get massive D focus by the opposition. Won't be playing with a lead nearly as much and they have the full bottom 6 being a question mark. Skin of the teeth season for a WC slot IMO.

Now that the roster has been finalized and no one had Poitras, what do folks want to predict for him on his rookie season?

I might have to amend my Coyle prediction if Monty isn't going to use him on the PP.

You can't get 55-60 points without PP time.

Is a potential Coyle problem appearing? Little PP time apparently and I can see Montgomery plugging Poitras in a 2C role. How happy will he be if that happens?
