Has Kyle Neptune been fired yet?
I realize the rationale behind his hiring, but his one season at Fordham he was 16-16 and couldn't even get to be .500 within the conference. He should have never been hired, but they predetermined it.

As an alum living across the country, following the basketball team is really my only remaining connection to the school. And the last couple years have sucked. Jay Wright was a legend, Kyle was completely unqualified to take over what had become a Blueblood program. We know the cultural forces at play and Fr. Peter wanting a certain profile in a new coach, but they didn't even do a search. They just asked for a quick recommendation from Jay and just hired him on the spot.

From what I'm reading from people with deeper basketball knowledge than myself, the consensus seems to be that if Jay Wright were coaching that same roster, they'd be ranked top 15 at worst.

I’m not so involved in college basketball to know how good they’re supposed to be, but that’s probably a reasonable expectation, as they were ranked to start the season. I’m sure the NIL collective is all over them.

NC State winning the ACC knocked some other team off the tourney bubble. Have to wonder if that’s gonna be Virginia.

Don't say anything at all
There needs to be more support for anti-siphoning policies for major sporting events.

Such a policy for Turner's March Madness games would entail them being simulcast on OTA stations in markets with a rooting interest in the participating teams.

Sister stations to CBS affiliates that carry ABC, Fox, The CW, NBC, MyNetworkTV, or are traditional independents would have right of first refusal in markets where such a station (or digital subchannel), exists, and even then, only if the station's signal reaches the campus of the team in question.

I care very much about people who can't afford any form of pay TV and thus have only an antenna to provide them TV, and the NCAA should too.
