Vikings signing Za'Darius Smith to a 3 year contract. Pretty excited for this.

Also bring back backup qb Sean Marrion.
Make sure to get that contract signed, sealed and delivered so I don't get a stress ulcer from seeing him "sign" with the Ravens plz.

John Lynch is like Rodgers in the playoffs, you just know he’s going to come up short in the end.

Ownership should fire him and provide some sort of resolution to the qb position. 5 years of f***ing up every possible qb scenario is more than enough.
I don’t get SF. They need help in the secondary. Main weakness of their roster. Just accept that you need to cut Jimmy and move on. Jimmy screwed you by getting the surgery when he did but Jimmy like any player should be looking out for himself. Even as a free agent he wasn’t going to get a similar contract to the one the got from SF. He knows that but wants to sign with a solid team where he can continue to win and boast that record and still get paid in his next contract.

It’s really down to Jimmy and Baker who need new homes. And Seattle and Carolina who are not committed to a QB on their roster. They may roll with what they got.

Gilmore is sitting there and they have a way to get the money he wants. This situation is frustrating for multiple reasons.

Gilmore has been on the east coast his entire life. Grew up in the Carolinas, play at South Carolina, drafted by Buffalo, signed last FA by NE and traded to Carolina.
Going to be hard for SF to convince him to go to the west barring paying him above what another team could. Plus he’s also won SB so he’s not exactly ring chasing.

They have a better chance at signing him (and some oline depth) than still expecting a team to give them a 2nd or multiple for Jimmy G and his 25 mil base.
