Ball isn't a Nordic god, though.
I love this f***en team.

They even used him as an example. Not that this news change anything but Landy just isn’t coming back folks. He has the same injury as Landy?
I pray that your post ages poorly, yet I am beginning to fear it won't.They even used him as an example. Not that this news change anything but Landy just isn’t coming back folks.
I prefer something on the bench first where he can interact with and inspire the boys at game time.If this is the end for Landy, hang his name in the rafters and get this man a front desk job next to Sakic. Assistant to the general manager.

What are we going to do with all that cap money if Landy goes on the LTIR?
Basketball and hockey are different on the knees though. [Still clinging to threads of hope...]He has the same injury as Landy?
One thing about Landy, our beautiful captain, is he has earned the right to call his career on his own terms, and at his own pace / time. Our club should and will facilitate whatever he wants. Why? Because we are family, and families stick together.
Probably the same damn thing we did with it this last deadlineWhat are we going to do with all that cap money if Landy goes on the LTIR?
Yeah I’d go for Quality of life… the recovery is a year or so we’ve been told That’d be pretty early in the recovery process to make a call if it’ll be effective or not.Landy said he spoke to Lonzo Ball who had just had this surgery two months prior. So whatever he said made Gabe want to get the same surgery with the same doctor.
Seems like there's three options that are the most likely here to me.
1) These reports that, "they don't think it's likely that he ever plays again" aren't entirely accurate.
2) Things took a turn for the worse recently with Lonzo Ball.
3) Gabe already had a feeling he may not play again, he's just trying to be optimistic, and these comments from the same reporter about Ball apply to Landy as well. “It is incredibly rare and is much more likely being done just for his quality of life off of the basketball court.”
