Or maybe his injury was worse than we were told or maybe he had a setback in his recovery.
You don't get PRP or steroid injections as a normal course of treatment.

The Celtics love to string the fans along with these injuries. The did the same thing with KG back in the day. Always a couple weeks away
They are not obligated to tell the fans anything so the fact that they do should be appreciated.
Fans should also realize that the team isn't going to tell you everything. The sooner this happens the better.
The entitlement sports fans in this town have can be really gross.
be glad you don't have to do 2 GDT's at the same time, it'll be interesting to contrast what the B's intro was like Saturday to tonight's intro, with the multi tribute season honoring Bill Russell..... some teams I've seen in preseason aren't honoring Russell on the court, just the patch on the jersey and some have done what the Celtics have done with this year's version of the Court, w/ Red's signature permanently as part of the court

Unless he costs you the Spring or the lack of replacement does the same. Pay him a half a season or start paying him in the spring for contributions.
The Celtic's lost the first period against Philly because they played small and had foul trouble.

His contract is great for a difference maker in the NBA.
He makes about 50% of what players of his caliber generally do. Its fine if he misses games.
How many centers in the league are better than him right now? Maybe 10?
Good start this is a team possessed.
Remember last year Udoka had us pretty much breaking a leg out of the gate and people thought we were awful.
Regular season is way too long in the NBA though and there are tons of shitty teams here's to another 6 months of scrimmages!
