Power has rare skill for his size, but he's so slow twitch it hurts. His footwork and hip rotation is just bleh. I'm worried that it makes his strengths not as strong as they should be. We're talking getting forechecked, gaps, moves at the blue line, defensive recoveries. Less time and space will hurt him. I hate betting against big players with soft hands and vision. He can provide value, but he will be more flawed as an NHLer than his #1 status reads. Or something something Hedman.
