Holland rules...he can play all over the defensive backfield and has tremendous ball skills. If he didn't opt out this year he would have definitely gone round 1 I think.

Honestly did not watch/read much about Eichenberg, but he seems like their type of guy. I think he could step in and start right away at RT
Some people think he might play guard.

So after all the trading down that the Panthers did, and after all the draft picks they got back, it ends up that they only gave up a 2nd rounder(next season) for Sam Darnold.

They also got great value with the picks they got back.

Any specific reason why the Browns 2nd round selection player fell so far? They picked at like 56 and the player they got was rated as the 12th best player in the draft.

Doesn’t really have a true position he’s a safety/linebacker hybrid he’s gonna have to niche his way into a scheme

People laugh that hockey season goes on for too long.

The NFL regular season won't end until Jan 9. Football won't wrap up until mid February. I can't wait until an 18th game and a 2nd bye week are added

Finally caught up to look at the draft thread. I love that the team actually spent their higher picks to build around Wilson and give him as many tools to succeed out the gate as possible. Compared to Sam where they never gave him anything and let him run for his life.

The trade up for AVT was perfectly fine. The left side if all goes well will be a monster between him and Becton, and the o-line absolutely needed more maulers. The Jets also have so many picks in this draft and next year as well that giving up 2 3rds and getting a 4th back was virtually nothing to move up. If you believe in a guy, who is considered one of the top talents in this class, you trade up and get him. Wilson's blind side should be set for a decade plus if all goes according to plan.

So happy about the Elijah Moore pick as well. He has all the talent to be a lethal weapon for Zach in this offense.

The late round picks are always crap shoots but I like that they took guys who are hybrid type players that Saleh will likely be coaching up.

Does my football team finally...have a plan? haha

Just saw this; it was a heart issue that was discovered late in the process but docs cleared him. Still enough to scare teams away though. His fall was absolutely criminal. As an ND fan, he is an amazing player and going to be for a long time. Browns got an absolute steal. I think his scheme fit is way overblown. Well coached teams (aka not coached by dinosaurs) find ways to get playmakers on the field.

so...how bad ya'll think giants are gonna be this season :(
I dunno, D was good last year, Judge looks like a good coach.

Certainly have weapons now on offense, especially if Bark's is back. So big questions look to be o-line and QB.

NFL is always difficult to predict, but I wouldn't be shocked if things came together and they win 10 games. Will certainly need Jones to break out for that to happen though.
