I think I've explained this years ago when I first started hosting the top prospects vote but anyway, in case anyone is wondering why I keep closing the previous threads as we move forward, I'm trying to prevent people from getting caught up on who should've got this specific spot and comparing lists too much. I feel like it may influence on how people vote and also I think it's more fun to compare the lists at the end and how it fares with the voted list.

Wasn't able to comment on the first thread but @SoupyFIN can we please keep this from turning into a 30+ thread shit-show like in previous years? Honestly after the top ten or so it's so much conjecture and speculation about guys who will likely never make it to the NHL as to be pointless.
I'll say the same thing as in previous years, if the interest is there (votes), I'll keep going until it dies down. :dunno:

Mackie may not be ready soon but I gotta go with him over Ludwig and Eetu.

Blue Jay Way..
Basically a toss-up between Ludwig and Gildon at this point, but I went with Big John.
He is a year younger and has a little bit more of a NHL build.

I could see either or making the team this year.

Mackie because he has the highest potential. Couple guys on this list I’m confident in saying top out as 3rd liners (which is good for a non first round pick) and a couple others are as big of a question mark to make the NHL as Mackie but I believe have slightly lower potential.

The suggested guidelines seem to imply that NHL readiness > potential, so I picked Hepo. In terms of raw prospect talent, lad say either Smilanic or Samoskevich.

Definitely a new tier here.
If we're looking at pure potential, I go with Samoskevitch, followed by Smilanic and Sourdif.
If we weight in how "safe" and NHL-ready the pick is, I probably go with Ludvig, followed by Gildon and Hepo.

Going with Ludvig here. Add Noel.

The guideline is just there to help, there's no requirement to follow it. Everyone can make up their own list on who should be where.

Wanted to vote Mackie but didn’t find him, so I went with Gildon…

Just kidding, have to go with highest ceiling here !

Add Kiersted.
I was pondering between Mackie and Matthew when I did the eligible list, Eliteprospects had him as Matthew, so I went with that.

Gudas who?

The physicality is great, but let's not forget his defensive work, his success on both the PP and PK, his offensive skills, work ethics and leadership; he had a great shortened season in the AHL. While some guys on the list have higher upsides, I think he could be a n.3 if things go well, and even at his floor, he should be able to carve some role in the NHL.

Would have voted for Hippo at #3 and will continue to vote for him until he is ranked.

Samoskevich is far enough ahead that we can end it here.

Added player vote was a 5-way tie, I'll give my own vote to Nause to break it. I was thinking about keeping the amount of choices lower for longer this year to keep the vote from spreading out too much early, also it gives more importance to voting for the next added player. ;)
