We're not going to get sponsors like that. It'll be predatory used car lots like Cactus Jack's and technically but barely legal Payday loan places, like FastCashNow or something. Maybe SuperPawn?
Make it interesting. How about Christie's Cabaret? Great for cross marketing.;)

I see some of you guys starting to feel about Hayton like I have the last year or so. I try not to do it, but I always associate Hayton with the 5OA pick, which I shouldn't because he is not a top five talent, and it wasn't his fault some top five GM picked him there.:)
He's a defense first center who cracked an NHL roster at 21. We're terrible too so it's not like he has a ton of help. Give the kid a few more years before you write him off. If he's still getting 3c/4c points at 25, then we can bemoan the selection. The only center taken ahead of him was JK and he has 15 points on one of the best teams in the league. The 2nd overall selection only has 11 points so far this season on a better team in NY. That draft hasn't been strong with top end talent to boot. We have to look at the bigger picture and some guys from 2018 are doing really well, but most are just breaking into the NHL and beginning the next phase of their development.

10 Games > 5 Points +5

Who would have thought?

Great performance so far by Moser - glad he gets time on the ice and he's able to make a name for himself.

As a Swiss fan I really underestimated his offensive upside at the NHL level. I didn't think he would be able to quarterback the PP on this stage a couple of seasons ago. He has improved a lot in that area in a short time. How does his physical play look like these days? Is he still outmatched in that area in the NHL? Unfortunately I don't have the luxury anymore to watch as much NHL games as I would like so I can't really look into this myself right now.

I was about to comment on Moser in the roster thread. Does he look noticeably bigger and stronger to others as compared to last year? He does to me.

And you know this by looking at a guy on TV wearing shoulder pads covered by a jersey?
It's a fair point but don't you think Keller looked bigger at the start of last season after he gained weight from weightlifting? Maybe it's his visible neck but he did look bigger to me.
I didn't buy into the story about him adding ten pounds of muscle over the summer. He might have gained ten pounds and half of it was muscle but it's very hard to gain that much muscle in that short amount of time without being on gear.
He did look bigger though, even under the pads.

I love him on the powerplay. He does a hell of a job keeping the puck in the offensive zone from the attempted clears.

I can't tell, unless someone said as much, or maybe when they do a presser and are stripped of their pads. I saw Ghost after to TO game and I couldn't believe how small he looked. Keller played like he was bigger, and being bigger may have given him more confidence. Maybe you guys have better eyes then me. Moser is very light for his height, so any muscle gain could be noticeable with the pads off, but I don't think you would see a difference with pads and sweater on. Like I said, you guys might have better eyes than me.

Body language might be more confident which makes a difference in appearance. Very happy to see he had a great start into the new season.
