Not going through the whole thread just want to throw out some crazy stats

the last time the bills played the pats marked the first time a Belichick coached team didn’t force a punt. Today they followed that up by not even facing a fourth down.

Allen had more td passes than incompletions

the bills had more TDs than 3rd downs

they went 6-6 on third down

outside of the kneel down drive they had 0 punts, 0 sacks allowed, 0 turnovers and 0 plays for negative yards. Against a top 5 defense.

Before today no team in the Super Bowl era had ever started a playoff game with more than four straight touchdown drives. The Bills started with 7.

no team in nfl history had ever had a game with no punts, no turnovers and no field goal attempts until this game.

what happened here was historic

Pats in clear transition after letting Brady go. Mac isn't the answer now but could be in the future.

This was the Buffalo Bills we saw earlier in the year. When their passing game is rolling...good freaking luck stopping that offense.

Patriots lack explosive offensive weapons. Their WR are fine in the shorter to intermediate routes. But, that's been the Pats offence since Moss left town, so upwards of a decade now with this current offence. And WR is not a position that the Patriots develop in house, similiar to the Ravens who are also a top 3-5 run organization.

Pats will still compete for the playoffs in the short term.

Bills, wow, their time is now. If this run game continues, they have a balanced attack and will be extremely dangerous moving forward.

It was a foundational year for the Patriots. You don’t like getting shitkicked to a division rival in the playoffs, but you have to see the forest through the trees. Clearly receivers will be the target in the draft. At least it should be, who knows with Belichick.

They've done a poor job of drafting and developing outside WR threats. The Ravens are basically in the same boat. Hollywood Brown isn't a WR1 over these past 3 years of him in the NFL. That's why they spent another first on Bateman and I'm not sure he's one either. Their best WR over the past decade was Smith SR from Carolina and Mike Wallace, who was more a vertical threat or Derrick Mason from TEN if you go back even further? Like NE, their best passiing options had been Heap, Pitta, and now Andrews at TE.

Pats got pants. I figured they'd lose but that was a thrashing. Congrats Buffalo, hoping for a more competitive rivalry next season!
