After last nights game Kupari needs to slide over to centre while Lizotte exits and Grundstrom moves to his natural RWing while Tkachev moves to his natural LWing. All other lines can stay intact at least for now...more goals are needed and if Kopi-Star isn't scoring the Kings are screwed

Kupari looked great last night. Hope he pushes his way up the lineup. Was nice to see Vilardi score too, he has a hell of a shot. Lord have mercy, Olli "Bobby Orr" Maatta is back in the lineup. I guess we're finally about to see what our team looks like without Doughty. Since the cup win in 2014, he's only missed three regular season games.

It shouldn't be -- at least for that reason. They haven't played much at all yet and I think they will be pumped with Drew out. Of course, I thought they were well-rested before Nashville and they came out flat as a pancake.

Kings started last season 1-2-2 with 14 GF and 17 GA. The season before that, they started 2-3-0 with 20 GF and 26 GA. Before that? 2-2-1, 11 GF, 12 GA. The loss in game five in 2018-19 started a six-game skid that led to Stevens' firing. In our last winning season (2017-18), we started the year 4-0-1 with 16 GF and 9 GA.

We are currently 1-2-1 with 11 GF and 10 GA. The main similarity with 17-18 so far is that Kopitar put the team on his back. Let's see if he does it again this year and can drag the team kicking and screaming into the playoffs again.

I think the second line needs to be broken up. Get someone who can score on that line.
