New leadership is needed. Cali or I would usually get things started and then summon pook to do the animations, but they're not here and I can't take over the process.

If someone wants to start listing ideas, that could get things rolling, but someone also has to volunteer to do the animations.

Some possible jumping off points that have been noted so far, fwiw:

What are the size limits now? They just let me use this one at over 4mb, so that really opens up what we can do versus the 50K limit we had when I did the banner theme a while back.
