They used almost all of the LTIR from Tuch and Bischoff at seasons start because so many were on IR.

I think they'll be able to use all but 36,700 or something of the 5.46 million relief as long as it lasts. IR players allowed them to maximize it.

We need to start developing some of our kids and letting them get some NHL experience. We're not beating the top teams without Tuch, Patches, Stone, Whitecloud, et al, and we aren't winning with the Howdens of the world. I want to see how we do with Hague, Miromanov, Deliberatore, Korczak, et al. especially now with so many regulars on the shelf.

If they waived Howden tomorrow, I'd probably not even notice. Just like most of the time he's on the ice.
