Sakic just prepping his basic we are don’t post conferences with the copywriter for KSE.

While Tampa goes for it again, Sakics “next year patience” is as strong as ever.

Copp is an excellent 200ft player who plays physical, wins draws, and plays all positions and all situations. He's Winnipeg's leading PK'er. On pace for 52 points across the last two seasons. He would elevate our 3rd line A LOT. Get him 50% retained too and he's only costing you $1.82m against the cap.
In addition to this Copp is really good off the rush, so he'll fit in well with the Avs.

He'll also go to the hard areas to score and is a great puck tipper. Both of which are qualities that can win a close game in the playoffs, when a goalie is standing on his head saving everything.

Mathieu Joseph is a decent player. Think @henchman24 said last year that he could be a good 3C.

At least Paul ends up in the east, that's good news again.

Yeah seriously, if Sakic doesn't match what Tampa and Florida are doing, he's probably not the GM who will lead this team to a cup. I mean I dont wanna jump to conclusions, he might very well do something, but I'm getting bit concerned

I mentioned Sturm, Newhook and Compher. They are most certainly enough for a bottom 6. Who do you want?
So no, I don't get what you're saying. They are currently bottom 6 in a League leading team.

A league leading team that’s heavily carried by the top 6 and top pairing D pair. Our bottom 6 compared to other contenders is putrid and we will get throttled by any team in the east in a 7 game series.. this has been the case for 4 years and counting now I’m surprised people still don’t see it.

Nick Paul going off the board increases the pressure on Sakic to get Copp. If Copp fell through the alternative would have been Paul to put a big defensive guy next to Newhook on the 3rd line.

Anyone wanna let Sakic know all the talented players are coming off the board while he worries about next year again?

f*** off, man. Starting to get pissed at Sakic sitting on his hands.

Sakic has done beautifully acquiring for needs so far mate. How is he sitting on his hands. Not many other teams have two solid trades. Remember, Anaheim swallowed 50% for us, giving us the ability to acquire more. We are 2-0 with Manson (and heavily reduced opposition shots), and 1-0 with Sturm, and he was noticeable.

Wouldn’t be shocked if Sakic is waiting for costs to go down. No point in trading a 1st for the players that remain on the block.

Sakic can very well be like Yzerman in Tampa who built the majority of the team with talent but didn't do enough depth moves, and didn't make the team tough to play against, the other GM came and fixed the issues
