How different are the Islanders from Columbus?

I give TB the edge because I don't know if Greiss/Varlamov will present the challenged Korpisalo did.

And Trotz isn't quite as dialed in on Tampa as Torts was.

Slightly more skill , plus more cosistant and mistake free. You win vs NY they make you earn it ,Tampa is a good team to be sure.

What else are we to go on though? Tampa has better forwards. This cannot be argued. They have better defense & goalie. Also not disputable.

Does it mean they'll win? No. But what other metrics am I to use to seize up this series? I do get your point though.

The main factor is tampa getting depth scoring if the third line still produces they will win. If our pp can click and if Stamkos comes back than yeah I will see it hard for islanders to win. But a few players played against each other in 2016 so some sour apples for the islanders.

This goes both ways. Tampa may struggle with the Isles system. But the Isles are about to face their toughest test yet. Again, it works both ways.
